New Fall-Winter Collection
New Fall-Winter Collection
This is a self practice Mysore style class where each student practices the ashtanga sequence at their own pace and in their own time. You only need to practice up to your last given posture. The teacher is there to guide you when you need it and hold the space.
You are shown the postures one at a time and build your practice from there. The teacher will give you a new posture when you are ready for it, so when you have memorised the ones that came before and can do them comfortably with correct breathing. It is often likened to a private class in a group setting.
Our Mysore community is lovely and supportive and the energy is really strong even through the screen. I will be keeping an eye on everyone and give verbal assistance when needed. It’s definitely worth the effort of getting up early.
Monday mornings from 6:30am to 8am
Join our lovely online community, Mondays at 6:30am for Virtual self practice, Mysore style. This is a space where we all gather, in our homes via Zoom to practice together at the start of every week. It is suitable for anyone with an established Ashtanga practice, or for anyone who has been attending led classes for a while, because you will remember most of the sequence, and you can always use a cheat sheet if you have one, or shout me for a reminder.
We start together at 6:30am with 12 focussed breaths, followed by the opening mantra before moving into our own practice. You don't have to stay until 8am, just leave when you are finished.
You can also join us any time up to 6:30am.
If you are new to Ashtanga or want to convert from led classes to Mysore, please do get in touch and we will be able to introduce you to the practice gradually.

“Donna is a wonderful teacher, gentle, generous and thoughtful. Having first practised with her in-person in Manchester, which I loved, the fact that she's been continuing classes on-line during lockdown has been an enormous blessing. She gives really insightful advice and guidance "via the screen" that have helped me get deeper into the practice, uniting postures with breath and bandhas."
“The sense of community is amazingly strong in the Virtual Mysore space and I think we know each other better now than when we met in a physical space. It has given me a sense of routine, purpose and connection in the most unusual of times."
“An amazing mindful ashtanga practice tonight allowing me to go deeper in my practice, thank you Donna”
Sometimes it is nice to have a bit of time for just you, especially if you would like to build a personal yoga practice or work with modifications suited to just your body.
A one to one class is perfect for this and I am now offering One to one classes over Zoom for anyone who would like some individual attention to either learn the practice as a beginner, or to deepen your practice, with opportunity to ask lots of questions without disturbing the usual flow of a public class.
A personal class would make a perfect gift for a birthday or a special occasion. Its also a lovely way to get together in these difficult times when we cannot be physically together. You can have your own personal Zoom yoga class for you and a couple of friends.
